Canley Vale's Preschool is located within the grounds of Canley Vale Public School, making it a safe and convenient place for young children to learn and play. Being part of the school helps our preschoolers get familiar with the school environment and makes the transition to kindergarten easier and more comfortable.

Preschool Enrolment

Preschool enrolment forms are now available at the school office or online.

All documents as listed below must be submitted at the time of enrolment.

To be eligible for enrolment for kindergarten in the following year your child must turn 4 years old by 31 July in the next year.

You will need to bring the following ORIGINAL documents to complete the enrolment application:

1. The child's birth certificate/Australian passport (original documents)

2. Immunisation certificate (certificates now available from Medicare only)

3. 100 points proof of address (refer to list below)

4. Parents passport if both parents born overseas/ Visa documentation (original documents)

Positions for Pre School will be allocated in accordance with the eligibility criteria for the Department of Education (Not according to how quickly you lodge your application)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

2. Children living in low socio-economic circumstances

3. Children who are unable to access other early child settings due to financial hardship

4. Children living within the school's catchment area

5. Children living outside the school's catchment area but have siblings at the school

6. Other applicants
