About our school

Canley Vale Public School is situated in the south west of Sydney within the municipality of Fairfield. The school, established in 1884, serves a community rich in culture, diversity and spirituality. Attractive, modern classrooms, a hall and canteen, enhanced by the latest technology, provide a rich, interactive learning environment.

The school operates classes from Pre-school to Year 6 with approximately 945 students enrolled. 98% of the students come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with thirty-five different ethnic groups comprising 40% Vietnamese, 31% Chinese, 10% Khmer and 17% from other groups.
